Prize Information
Prizes are divided into 4 broad categories. They are Grand awards, Divisional awards, Special awards, and Peer awards. Information on each of them follows:
Grand Awards

Divisional Awards
Gold, silver and bronze medals along with cash prizes, and honourable mention certificates are provided for each age category in each division. The current structure allows for each category/division to award 1 gold medal plus $1500, 2 silver medals plus $700 each, 3 bronze medals plus $300 each and up to 10 Honourable Mention certificates.

Special Awards
There are numerous special awards presented at the fair. They are determined by sponsors' specific interests. The awards can be cash awards, scholarships or travel awards of significant value.
Petro Canada Peer Innovation Awards
These awards provide an opportunity for the exhibitors to recognize projects that exemplify innovation and excellence. Exhibitors vote for projects within their own geographic zone and their own age category. Eighteen awards of $200 are given.
Geographic Zones: Atlantic, Quebec, Ontario South, Ontario North East, Central, Western
Age Categories: Junior, Intermediate, Senior
