Registration Information

All registration this year will be done through the YSF website. It will be open for registrations for this year's fair starting on April 15th and will close at midnight on April 30th. You will be sent instructions via eMail from your Regional Coordinator on how to use the site. Click here to look at the registration FAQ.

Chapter 4 of the Policy, Procedures and Guidelines Manual for the National Science Fair Program contains detailed information pertaining to the Canada Wide Science Fair. It is recommended that you review this chapter if you are planning on attending the fair.

Also available for review prior to the fair is the 2003 CWSF Finalist Booklet. It is strongly advised that both the finalist and their parents review this booklet as soon as possible. It contains a lot of good information that will help the student both with their project, and in enjoying their time in Calgary.

Regional Flags For The Opening Ceremonies

As is traditional, we would like each region to bring a flag with them for display near the main stage. It would help us if you could meet the following requirements:

• Please bring a flag and not a banner
• Size should be app. 180 cm by 90 cm
• A sleeve on one side to fit over a 2.5 cm pipe
