What happens to the photos I upload on this site?
First of all, they’ll be publicly visible to anyone, not just CWSF finalists, so it’s a great place to point your parents or friends back home to so they can see what’s happening day by day. On top of that, the host committee looks at this site regularly during the fair to find photos for the daily newsletter and other publications. Keep an eye out for yours! Also, during the fair someone will check this site daily and pick a new photo to use as the background image for the next day, we’ll give you a heads up via email if your photo is used!
When does the current year’s gallery open/close?
There’s no fixed schedule, but in general it will open a few days before the fair, and close a couple weeks after (the date might be posted closer to fair, so check back).
Why are some photos replaced with pictures of a sled?
As you probably noticed, the site was recently upgraded and some photos that were previously deleted (for various reasons) are now back from the dead. If you find one feel free to email us with the link and it’ll be fully removed (but only after playing some L4D to get in the mood).
I found an offensive/vulgar/explicit/otherwise problematic photo, what do I do?
Email us with the link and we’ll take a look at it.
What about intellectual property?
When you upload your photos to this site they’ll be publicly displayed and used in print materials, but you still own them and can do whatever you want with them-no worries.
